Prisma Firewall filters the traffic at network level package, controls the applications network access and offers a high control of the Internet user's activity, because of the fact it uses multiple protection system. Using a private network, Prisma Firewall protect your computer of threats coming from internal users. Developed specially for home use and small office, Prisma Firewall is easy to install and use, due to the friendly interface and also because it is easy to learn (10 minutes), offering the following advantages: * applications network access control (not only client applications, but server applications also); * the filtering of the packages and access of only the required information in your computer; * the multiple protection system blocks the attacks through the strict control (at the first level over the network board) of the information which enter the computer, before being analyzed; * the stealth guarantee of the Internet user so that the computer cannot be detected or attacked; * the graphic representation of the traffic and the elaboration of statistics reports regarding traffic and attacks; * the monitoring of the connection and applications.
Feature List:
- Displays information about current opened connections (tcp/udp) and historical data about your network traffic. Also, you are able to close connections (only for tcp) or kill process (only if you have the proper rights)
- You can monitor all the machines that send/receive packets to/from you
- You can set the access of machines that try to connect your computer by creating a rule for that specific IP. You can also create filters for IP classes, ranges and/or port ranges
- Allows you to monitor the activity of applications by displaying different information about connections
- Prisma let you manage each application internet access. You can manually Add/Edit/Remove a rule. Also, a dialog will pop-up each time an application, that is not present in your rule list, will try to access the internet
