With the arrival of Windows XP all Windows versions have software named 'Print Services for Unix'. This service is a LPD Server and is usable for production environment.
vLPD is not build to work in a production environment. It is ment as a tool to troubleshoot and solve print problems from Unix to Windows.
If you are going to use vLPD for other purpusos please let us know. We are always curious to new deployments of the software.
