Windows Update can automatically update Windows and drivers. Games Explorer on Windows Vista/7 can show newest information for "Games for Windows". However there are plenty of 3rd-party applications left can't be automatically updated. VersionTracker Pro fills in this blank.
VersionTracker Pro trial version is a lame version which doesn't provide full-function trial. It can only scan and show what drivers/applications need to be updated, and when you try to download the upgrades, you need to register. VersionTracker Pro's scan result is not 100% accurate. It uses executable file(*.exe)'s file version instead of software version on some software. And if your software is not entirely in English, it may shows a irrelevant version number. VersionTracker Pro has a "Launch VersionTracker Pro on Startup" option which is selected default, however you can't change any settings including this option on trial version. This is intolerant. We delete this software immediately after review.
