This is a text file processing program that can filter or format ASCII text files. It can read .txt or .xml files and can apply a sequence of operations on the text to transform it into a different format or structure. The transformation can also involve removing text or changing the order of certain words, where a unique feature is probably the ability to generate ordered lists of words from files of arbitrary text. The program can also extract only the contents of XML or even HTML files, to process just the text content. It can also perform some of the more common formatting operations. Filter text to remove/replace specified words or tokens.
Remove/keep specific words or lines.
Re-structure the text based on sequences of filtering options.
Extract only the content of XML or also HTML files.
Limited conversion back to XML format.
Generate ordered lists of words from re-structured text.
Re-format text files for line width or spacing.
Line truncation before or after specified characters.
Other basic formatting, such as character replacement, or convert to upper/lower case.
