Total Recorder Developer Edition is an edition of Total Recorder that allows you to integrate the audio and video capabilities of Total Recorder (such as recording, editing, converting, and playing of media data) with other applications. With the Developer Edition, you can record from any combination of video and audio sources, including output of another audio application in Software mode.
Total Recorder Developer Edition provides COM interfaces so that all of its functions can be invoked programmatically from within another program (e.g. C/C++, C#, VB, or Java programs) or from within a script (e.g. VB Script, JavaScript, or Perl) rather than interactively. The program package contains additional documentation and sample code (C++, C#, Visual Basic and JavaScript) for writing applications that can control Total Recorder through COM facilities.
You can also enhance Total Recorder functionality with some additional add-ons that can be used to improve the quality of your cassette or vinyl records and voice dictating tremendously, accomplish automatic gain control, apply an equalizer, send your recordings to iTunes/iPod and others.
What's New: support for MOV (read only), MPEG-4 and 3GP files with AAC audio streams and AVC/H.264 or MPEG-4 part 2 video streams under Win7; optionally, add the recording’s start time to the file tag and display the time that a particular position was recorded; use batch processing to change the audio speed
Limitations: A short noise will be inserted to the recording every 60 sec, watermark on output.
