TextAloud is the world's most popular text to speech tool. It can read text aloud on your computer. First, you click Open button to receive text from txt, word, PDF or HTML files. then click Speak button and TextAloud will start to read the text. You can choose voice from Mary, Mike or Sam. More voices such as AT&T Natural Voices, Acapela and Nuance RealSpeak Voices can be downloaded online. You can set speech options like pitch, speed and volume. The reading is a little weird. You may laugh hearing it if you are the first time using text to speech software. You can click Speak To File button to save your reading to MP3 files ready for playback on your portable devices. You can also accurately control over how words are pronounced by speech engines via TextAloud's pronunciation editor.
TextAloud can be used for many purposes. For example: you can sit back and relax while your PC reads daily news to you.
