disCoverJ - Free Mp3-Cover artwork auto tagger
With disCoverJ, you can tag your mp3-files with cover images from various search engines. Simply Drag & Drop files to the Program and press start. disCoverJ will save the images direct in the id3 tag.
Installation
Download Java JDK 1.8 from the offical Oracle page & install
Download the installer for your os: https://bitbucket.org/rouven_h/discoverj/downloads
Start the shortcut created by the installer
For Linux CLI start disCoverJ-CLI.sh
Usage
Drag some files to the program. disCoverJ starts automatic the Analyse.
When analysing is done, the files appearing in the list on the left side.
Now press 'start disCoverJ' and disCoverJ starts the search.
You can get information about the current state by watching the progressbar and the status bar below.
When the progress is done, the statistic window will opened by itself.
For Linux CLI: - If you want to declare your own Java 8 path open disCoverJ-CLI.sh with an texteditor. Set the value of CUSTOM_JAVA=path/to/your/java - Run disCoverJ-CLI.sh 'path/to/music'
