AthTek DigiBand is a piece of intelligent music software for Windows. It can compose music automatically with flexible instruments and melodies. It can also improvise an accompaniment to imported audio file, keyboard playing or even your humming. It will inspire a musician in writing songs quickly and effectively. Rich instruments and music styles are integrated into this software. What is more, you can even convert the created music to midi notation in AthTek DigiBand!

For people who are not musical, the process of composing and playing music seems almost magical. AthTek DigiBand is a program that aims to bring the joys of musical creation to the tone-deaf masses. With this easy-to-use music program, you can just follow the instructions to compose music or improvise accompaniments. You will enjoy the fun of having a versatile music group on the computer.
There are 2 main parts of AthTek DigiBand: auto composition and auto accompaniment.
Auto Composition: AthTek DigiBand has integrated many musical emotions into the Composition Guide. Choose any emotion in the drop down menu, the corresponding instrument, beats per minute and chord will be generated automatically. Then you would be able to compose music effectively. You can also manually select the genre and edit any instrument, structure or chord for your customized composition. You can even add a virtual singer to sing for your customized music.
Auto Accompaniment: AthTek DigiBand is able to improvise an accompaniment to imported audio file or even your humming. It can import a music file and use it as the main track, then improvise an accompaniment to this track. You can also hum to the program directly to generate a main track, and the program will be able to improvise an accompaniment to your humming automatically. In the latest version, AthTek DigiBand supports to improvise an accompaniment to live computer keyboard playing.
