AcaStat statistical software is an inexpensive and easy-to-use data analysis tool. Create and analyze crosstabulations, descriptive statistics, basic significance tests, and summary reports. Ideal for those who need a low-cost alternative for producing basic summary statistics at school or work. Practice data files. Integrated update module. Available in Windows and Mac.
AcaStat includes three data analysis modules (Data Grid, StatCalc, Decision Tools) and three support modules that provide analysis output (Output Viewer tab), statistical terms and definitions (Glossary module), and a tutorial. Special pricing and site licenses are available for instructors adopting AcaStat for course work. Printable manuals include a Student Workbook with over 20 lessons, an Applied Statistics Handbook, and an AcaStat User Manual. Analyze raw data within a spreadsheet design. Produces descriptive and inferential statistics, and creates crosstabulations.

- Create confidence intervals and conduct statistical tests using summary statistics such as means, counts, and proportions. As an example, create confidence intervals for means with just a mean, standard deviation, and count (sample size)
- Conduct significance tests such as t-tests, ANOVA, difference of proportions, and Chi-Square with summary measures. Check hand calculations or results presented in reports
- Use counts to estimate diagnostic accuracy measures such as sensitivity, specificity, predictive values, and likelihood ratios
- Each analysis in the SumStats module includes an interpretation of the results
